Oleg Voskoboynikov is a medievalist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, who has dedicated dozens of books and articles to the history of medieval culture in Western Europe.
The book "Frederick II and His Intellectual World" is the result of thirty years of research. It is a historical and cultural portrait of the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and King of Sicily, Frederick II of Hohenstaufen (1220–1250), set against the backdrop of his time.
