Philosophical Thoughts of a Naturalist

The book traces the development of V.I. Vernadsky's ideas from the evolution of the living substance of the planet - the totality of all the organisms inhabiting it in the biosphere as their environment - under the conditions of an alien "overlay" of technogenic human activity on this natural evolution to a qualitatively different understanding of the interrelationship of these processes in the conditions of a regular and inevitable transition to a new - noospheric - stage of evolution.
