The author discusses both the high — the culture of thinking, communication, leadership — and the inevitable work routine. For example, why it is important to learn to "wind the spring." Or why you should always take as much money as possible. Or how to build a solid design.
These are not ready-made recipes, but detailed reflections: why something does not work and how to restructure work so that it does work and brings joy. Moreover, the advice is equally well-suited for designers, editors, managers, developers, and other creative folks.
