Vasily Surikov: Comprehensive Textbook for Learners of Russian as a Foreign Language + DVD

«Vasily Surikov» — a comprehensive textbook included in the series «Golden Names of Russia». It allows students studying Russian as a foreign language to learn about the biography of the remarkable Russian artist V. I. Surikov and watch a film... about him.
The texts of the brochure are mainly based on the personal recollections of V. I. Surikov, recorded by Maximilian Voloshin, as well as on the memories of people who knew the artist. Aiming for a deeper understanding of the artist's biography, the texts are designed to develop reading and comprehension skills in Russian texts for foreign students at the general proficiency level of Russian as a Foreign Language (RKI). After reading the text or its part, students are offered various assignments. Special attention is paid to assignments aimed at developing speech.
The film is on DVD and is intended for viewing on a computer or through a DVD player. The duration of the film is 15 minutes. The text of the film and all subsequent texts correspond to the I certification level (B1).
