The workbook will help children consolidate the knowledge gained while studying the textbook "Chess School. Second Year of Study," recommended by the Chess Federation of Russia. Puzzles and riddles will allow for engaging lessons in a playful manner, gradually unveiling... the beauty and depth of chess to the students. The main topics of the lessons include: pins, combinations and traps in the opening, distraction, overload, double attack, linear checkmate, pawn endgames, stalemate combinations, and combinations for perpetual check. The workbook contains about 200 tasks for independent solving, including over 50 positions for checkmate in two moves. Intended for third-grade students of general education schools and older.
