The Girl Who Played with Fire

Late in the evening, a journalist and his girlfriend were shot in their apartment – they were investigating the channels for supplying sex slaves from Eastern Europe to Sweden. Representatives of the power structures were noted among the clients of... this disreputable business. It seems obvious which circles benefited from the death of these two. Mikael Blomkvist begins his own investigation into the deaths of his colleagues and friends and suddenly learns that his longtime acquaintance Lisbeth Salander, the strangest girl in the world, who tends to play with fire – for example, dousing it with gasoline – is suspected of the murder. A hunt for the "psychopathic killer" is underway across Sweden, but Lisbeth is not afraid to challenge anyone – be it the mafia, public structures, or death itself.
