The City of the Sun in 2 Volumes. Volume 2

Maxim Shustov, a 19-year-old journalism student, and his friends — Dima and Anya — continue their investigation that began in Moscow with the study of the painting “Mansion on Prechistenka.” After India, the heroes head to Peru, hoping that South America will be the final destination in their dangerous journey. Maxim has obtained an ancient figurine of an unknown deity, which is supposed to guide them through the Amazon jungle to the mystical City of the Sun, for which Maxim's father spent almost his entire life searching. The heroes follow the trail of the Peruvian planter Carlos del Campo and the Russian manufacturer Alexei Zatrapechny to uncover the greatest mystery of the Chavin civilization and, more importantly, to save their loved ones from death.
