The First Law of Screw

Shurka Dobrynin is twelve years old. He would be glad to be Sanya or Shurka. Even Alexander! But with a light touch from his mom, everyone calls him Screw. One day after karate practice, a vintage compass comes into Screw's... hands (it must be said, not quite honestly). That's where the adventures of our hero begin: sometimes he rescues a girl from trouble, sometimes he tames a real owl, and sometimes he helps a stranger grandmother. Each time, after a good deed, one wish of Screw's is miraculously granted. The boy realizes: he has discovered the law of the compass. It's simple: I — for you, and you — for me. But in reality, it's different: doing good deeds is not so easy... Shurka refuses a friend, betrays a brother, and in pursuit of elusive happiness, he doesn't manage to do the most important thing. Will Screw be able to fix everything he has done and find a way out of the difficult situation?
