The developing game Geocont Voskobovich is a unique "rubber" constructor for children aged 3 and older.

Clearly from the name itself, it was invented by the famous teacher-inventor Vyacheslav Voskobovich. His educational materials, framed by fairy-tale plots, are always very interesting to children.

"There is no royal road to geometry," but there is a fairy-tale path that leads to the Purple Forest to a glade of golden fruits. Together with the little Geo, your child embarks on this exciting journey. From the wise Crow Methra and the fairy-tale spider Yuka, he learns the secrets of lines, rays, segments, angles, and geometric shapes, and also gets acquainted with the coordinate system.

"Giant" is an enlarged version of the game Geocont "Little Baby". The plot of the game is the same, but the design is somewhat different. The game board made of plywood features 8 rays emanating from the center of the field. It also depicts three abstract geometric shapes in red, blue, and green colors. The intersection points of these shapes with the rays are the coordinates by which the child will create various silhouette images on the game field.

In these points are 33 "silver" nails, which, according to the plot of the game, were planted on the glade of golden fruits by little Geo. Colored rubber bands included in the set are stretched over the nails, and various colorful pictures appear on the Geocont Voskobovich field.

The game introduces the coordinate system

The rays are marked with letters from A to Z, and the nails on the ray are numbered 1, 2, 3, or 4. Therefore, each nail can be given a name, for example, "A3" or "D2".

With the help of colorful rubber bands (magic webs, gifted by spider Yuka), the child, following the story of the fairy tale, gets acquainted with geometric concepts. He learns what a point, segment, line, closed and non-closed curve, geometric shape, and angles (right, acute, obtuse, straight) are.

With the rubber bands-webs, you can arrange various games:

• transform geometric shapes into one another by moving the rubber bands along the nails;
  - complete a symmetrical half of some figure;
  - mirror flip the figure depicted in the book.

Such tasks are found in the fairy tale, which little Geo and the little spiders perform together with spider Yuka.

Using rubber bands, the most intricate patterns can be created on the game field – according to samples from the album or your own unique designs. If the rubber bands included in the set are not enough, additional sets can be purchased at our online store. Patterns can also be created according to a given algorithm. You tell the child the names of the nails on which to put the rubber bands, and he creates a drawing and shows you the result. For example: "F4, B4, Z4, G4". A rectangle was formed. Or let the child come up with a figure and give you the algorithm, and you should guess and assemble this picture on the Geocont.
