Arkham Horror: The Card Game. Murder at the Excelsior Hotel

"Excelsior" is the most luxurious hotel in Arkham. Carpeted hallways, expensive room decor, exquisite cuisine... However, strange things have been happening there lately, and rumors spread through the city like ripples from a thrown stone. Suddenly, you receive an anonymous note inviting you to the hotel.

It's a great reason to start an investigation, but this decision leads to an unexpected result. You come to your senses, standing over a bloody body with multiple wounds, and now the police consider you a criminal. You need to uncover this mystery, or you face prison!

"Murder at the Excelsior Hotel" is a new standalone expansion for the card game "Arkham Horror" that can be played separately or added to your campaign. In it, detectives must uncover the dark secrets of Arkham's elite hotel "Excelsior". Time is running out, and danger lurks around every corner!

About the game

"Arkham Horror: The Card Game" is a cooperative Living Card Game set in the Lovecraft mythos, in which 1-2 investigators (or 3-4 with a second set) can together explore the world of the occult, ancient gods, and mysteries, while also battling their inner demons from the past.

Each player takes on the role of one of the investigators and builds their own deck based on their character's abilities. The gameplay revolves around interconnected scenarios that set the game's pace and create a dramatic narrative. This makes the sessions incredibly atmospheric and intriguing! The scenario set turns into a campaign with a full storyline and various outcomes. In each scenario, investigators enter different locations and explore them in search of clues needed to advance the investigation and uncover deeper mysteries.

During the game, investigators encounter enemies and curses, try to overcome all adversities and defeat the Myth's foes. As the campaign progresses, each investigator gains experience, allowing players to improve abilities and gain new options by adding stronger cards to their deck.

The further and deeper you dive into the world of the unknown, the closer you get to madness! Players must monitor their investigators' sanity, protect them from the horrors and monsters they encounter along the way, but most importantly – uncover the mystery of Arkham!
