Board Game - Dream Catcher

In ancient cultures of the Native Americans, there was a legend about dream catchers. According to beliefs, this mysterious artifact could catch evil dreams, preventing them from reaching the sleeper. Good dreams, however, passed through its patterns, leaving pleasant impressions behind. Try to catch them too!

Welcome to the land of amazing dreams! In the team board game "Dream Catcher," you will encounter whimsical plots, and your task will be to "catch a dream," that is, to solve these very plots. And you will try to do this not with words, but by touch! Close your eyes and imagine your most amazing dream... An unusual association game begins!

 

The rules of this game are as simple and clear as possible. In the box, you will find 2 decks: dream cards with unusual plots and "tactile" cards with textured pictures. At the beginning of each round, choose a host, who takes 4 plot cards and 5 tactile cards from the top of the corresponding decks. In secret from the others, the host thinks of one plot card and, after shuffling, lays out all the plots on the table face up. Then, they give players from 2 to 5 tactile cards that can hint the players at the guessed plot. Important: the cards are passed face down so that none of the players can see what is depicted on them. They must understand it solely through tactile sensations.

While feeling the cards, players discuss what they feel. By assembling a general picture of impressions, they must understand which of the four plots on the table it is associated with. If guessed, one of the nine night tokens is flipped star-side up. If not, one hidden night token must be discarded. Then the next player in a clockwise direction becomes the host.

This is a cooperative game for victory points, so you cannot truly lose in it. At the end of the ninth round, your team's success will depend on the number of night tokens flipped to the star-side up. The more you managed to achieve, the better your result!
