Books of the Wise

This book contains two main philosophical treatises that influenced the religious and philosophical traditions, culture, and history of all East Asia. The "Tao Te Ching" is a unique monument of human thought. Created more than two thousand years ago, the book remains an inexhaustible source of wisdom and reflections on existence, justice, the nature of good and evil. "Conversations and Judgments" from the "Lunyu" is the main book of Confucianism and all Eastern culture. For many centuries, this treatise was considered mandatory for memorization in the classical education of the Celestial Empire.
