1967. In a small northern town, a series of serious crimes occur. First – a daring robbery of a warehouse belonging to a famous antiquarian, followed by the murder of a young girl and a visiting graduate student. Investigator Vladimir... Altufyev does not rule out that this is the work of one gang… Suspicion falls on local criminals, especially since a briefcase belonging to the deceased was found with one of the former inmates. However, it soon turns out that this version is incorrect. A new lead comes from a carefully hidden motorboat parking lot that was accidentally discovered by young naturalists. It appears that this was how the criminals reached the town and committed their crimes… Altufyev decides to set a trap and catch the scoundrels in the act…
