Based on mentions in memoirs, annotations, comments on letters, lists in house books and directories, in encyclopedias and city studies literature. It not only documents the surviving or lost houses of old Moscow but also collects addresses of famous salons, literary meetings, home «Tuesdays», «Thursdays» and «Fridays», as well as the names of those who occasionally visited them. The second volume of the atlas-duology by V.M. Nedoshivin is aimed at both literature enthusiasts and specialists.
