B.F. SKINNER (1904—1990) — the founder of behaviorism and one... of the most influential figures in the history of psychology. In his famous work «Beyond Freedom and Dignity», he defends his own philosophy, based on a unique theory of the technology of human behavior.
 
In discussing freedom, dignity, and punishment, Skinner establishes the primacy of the environment over the individual and denies internal motives of personality that hinder the development of a prosperous society.
