Game of Thrones

"Game of Thrones" (second edition) is an atmospheric, original, and thoughtfully designed board strategy game based on the popular series of novels by George Martin, "A Song of Ice and Fire".

From three to six players take on the role of the great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and begin their struggle for control over the Iron Throne, using both diplomacy and military might. The game is based on the bestseller "A Song of Ice and Fire", a series of fantasy novels by George Martin. "Game of Thrones" offers a true epic scale, and to win, simple military might may not be enough. You can seize power through force or use cunning and deceit on your way to the Throne, or perhaps you will decide to rally the populace to your side? Using strategic planning, masterful diplomacy, and skillful management of available cards, expand your influence over all of Westeros!

At the beginning of the game, each player receives an army that includes infantry, knights, siege engines, and ships, as well as a deck of their House cards, which are used as leaders in battles against opponents' Houses. The game consists of 10 rounds, and the player who possesses the most lands with castles or fortresses wins.

Westeros Phase
Each round of the game consists of three stages: the Westeros Phase, the Planning Phase, and the Action Phase. The Westeros Phase embodies various events and daily activities in Westeros. There are three different Westeros decks, each relating to various global actions potentially affecting all players.

Plot Phase
The Plot Stage can be considered the most important: you secretly give orders to all your units, placing one command token face down on each controlled area that contains at least one unit (knight, infantry, ship, or siege engine). This part of the game gives special importance to diplomacy and deduction - can you trust your ally? Will you betray them yourself and send your armies against them? Players can make promises to each other (for assistance or a truce, for example), but these promises are never a guarantee!

Action Phase
During the Action Phase, the given orders are revealed, and the battle begins! When armies clash, players secretly choose one of their House cards to add strength to the fight. And finally, Houses can combine their power in areas they control for future use, for example, to repel an attack from the Wildlings!
