Frozen in the Ice. The story of the largest international expedition to the North Pole on the ship 'Polarstern'

On September 20, 2019, the largest Arctic expedition of all time began: the ship 'Polarstern' departed from the port of Tromsø to 'embed' itself in the ice at the North Pole. The route of the expedition almost completely mirrors the... path of the famous Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen on the ship 'Fram'. On board the 'Polarstern', scientists from 20 countries will spend an entire year studying the effects of climate change in the Arctic.
