Orphanage

England, 1948. Clara Newton sends her resume to the Shilling Grange children’s home and unexpectedly becomes its new matron, both for herself and all the residents. Many of her charges have been left without families, their lives shattered by war,... just like Clara's. The war took her fiancé—an Air Force pilot.
