Its main character is Lida Moniava, founder of the charity foundation «House with a Lighthouse». Based on serious documentary research by a journalist from the portal «Such Affairs», the book is dedicated to the development of Russian charity from the early 1990s to the present day. It is a very personal story of a relentless struggle for civil society, a fight against prejudices and fears that hinder the development of palliative care and an accessible environment for people with disabilities.
