“You don't always understand why there are tears in your eyes - from laughter or from empathy.” Galina Yuzefovich Pavel Selukov was born in 1986 on the outskirts of Perm. He ran away from kindergarten, changed two schools and five grades, and graduated from a vocational school. At thirty, he started writing. Now he is the author of several collections of stories, a laureate of the Kataev Prize and a finalist of the "Big Book". “Get Tarkovsky” is a collection of “unintelligent stories” about Perm life in the nineties and noughties. The heroes of the book are marginalized individuals and troubled teenagers, who are also romantics and philosophers.
