Bad Weather

2008. A simple driver, a former soldier of the Afghan war, single-handedly carries out a daring robbery of an armored truck transporting money from a large shopping mall.

Thus, in the million-strong but provincial city of Batuyev, ends the long story of a mighty and active union of Afghan veterans - whether a public organization, a business alliance, or a criminal group: during the wild nineties, when this union was formed and gained strength, it was difficult to distinguish one from the other.

But the novel is not about money and not about crime, but about the bad weather in the soul. About the desperate search for the reason why a person should trust another person in a world where only predators prevail - yet it is impossible to live without trust. A novel about how greatness and despair have the same roots.
