Islam, the third great monotheistic religion, alongside Judaism and Christianity, is an extremely significant historical and cultural phenomenon that originated on the Arabian Peninsula, in the birthplace of the prophet Muhammad, and spread across vast territories of the planet. This book describes the chronology of Islamic civilization, starting from its inception, primarily with a narrative about the Bedouin society, which was the cradle of Islam and left behind still noticeable and recognizable, typical features of tribal social structure. In the 7th century, the Arabs left the endless desert and defeated two powerful political and military states of that time, the Byzantine Empire in the Middle East and the Sasanian Empire in Persia and Mesopotamia, two eyes to which God entrusted to enlighten the world.
