Game Objective

To advance the furthest on the board in pairs with another player. To win, players must be good at understanding feelings and emotions.

In Brief

Each player forms a pair with all other players. For example, if three people are playing, everyone chooses one color for themselves. Let's say red, blue, and yellow. Then the red player forms a pair with the blue and yellow players, the blue player pairs with the red and yellow players, and the yellow player pairs with the red and blue players. Players advance in pairs towards victory: for this, they collect tokens consisting of two colors – one for each player in the pair.

Players are given situations made up of two cards: a setup and a resolution. Players indicate what emotions they would feel in this situation, or guess the emotions of the host. Pairs that have matching answers move their tokens forward.

The game "Empathica" from the publisher "Simple Rules" promotes the development of empathy and teaches interaction. It is suitable for 3-6 players.
