Anatomy of Value. A View Through the Lens of the New Political Economy

This book is not just about value; it is about the "principles" of a new political economic theory. The author strives to explain what value truly represents, revealing its, in some sense, ideal essence. The book provides justification for the erroneous concept of surplus value, exposes the misconception in Marxist theory regarding the unconditional equivalence of commodity exchange, and explains the error in interpreting price as an expression of the labor value of a commodity. An attempt is made to explain the widespread conceptual misunderstanding that labor creates value greater than its own cost. The bias of the Theory of Supply and Demand and the associated concept of free prices is also revealed. In other words, the author attempts to uncover systemic errors made in the past that today distort the real picture of economic relations and make incompatible various historically established approaches to economic reality.
