The Mystery of the Missing Expedition

Artyom's grandfather, geologist Viktor Korchagin, did not return from a mysterious journey to the Eastern Sayan mountains. The family found his diary with a hint of an incredible scientific discovery and an unequivocal warning: «It's more dangerous than I thought.... Do not look for me!» The warning did not scare Artyom's parents. They went into the taiga following Korchagin's trail: father - to write an engaging article, mother - to find out her father's fate. Artyom himself is enjoying his first big hike, but soon realizes that the guides his father hired are clearly hiding something. Artyom will have to figure out the true motives of the stern Fyodor Kuzmich, the silent giant Jambule, and other expedition members, for the stakes involve not only his grandfather's discovery but also the lives of his loved ones.
