The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is one of the main attractions in Australia. On the outskirts of the city, right by the coast, a real fairy tale has grown, into which you want to plunge headfirst: there are sprawling trees, singing birds, and even flying foxes! However, the park is rich not only in natural beauty: with its green alleys, it coexists with man-made wonders. Just think of the legendary Sydney Opera House, which you can access directly from the park! 

Now you can imagine yourself in the place of the architects and planners of this park. What routes can you plan to amaze visitors? 

"Gardens of Sydney" is a simple-to-learn board game where you will be engaged in planning the park. Each player builds their own section of the park, aiming to create the most interesting and vibrant tourist route. "Gardens of Sydney" delights with its beautiful and relaxed atmosphere: bright illustrations perfectly complement the elegant gameplay.

Your task is to create tourist routes on your board using cards that depict various elements of the park. The designs on the cards must match each other, and thus a true canvas of streets, trees, and art objects will unfold before your eyes. Players take turns laying down cards, selecting them from the common supply in the market area. 

Once a card is placed, you move a visitor figure along the growing route and earn points based on how interesting the path was! Particularly amusing is that the attraction cards are inspired by real objects – in the game, you will find the legendary Opera House, the Sydney Conservatorium, the State Library, the Sydney Tower (the tallest structure in the city!), and much more: just take Fort Denison, a fortress that was built back in the early 19th century. 

The core gameplay is not complex, but you will quickly sense that this simplicity is deceptive: "Gardens of Sydney" can pleasantly surprise you with the depth hidden behind its neat design. The more cards on your board, the more space there will be for tactics. Various conditions for earning victory points force you to adapt and come up with solutions on the fly. The opportunities for creating routes are truly impressive: will you be able to outmaneuver your opponents and assemble a winning combination of cards in time?

During the game, you will earn victory points for creating routes. When the eighth round ends, players who have fulfilled certain conditions receive additional points, after which the game ends. The architect with the highest number of points wins!
