The Good Doctor from Warsaw

A novel based on a true story about the outstanding Polish educator and doctor Janusz Korczak, who perished along with his wards in Treblinka. Warsaw, 1940. The Jewish ghetto is under harsh Nazi control. Hundreds of thousands of men, women,... and children are slowly dying of hunger within these walls. And while despair reigns around, one man brings hope and tirelessly cares for the ever-growing number of destitute children. Students Misha and Sophia help Janusz Korczak in his Orphanage. But staying in the ghetto becomes increasingly dangerous, and the young people have to face circumstances alone, hoping to someday find each other again. And Dr. Korczak, refusing to abandon the children, will go to the very end, into the depths of terrible and inhuman darkness.
