It’s not an ambulance or firefighters - it’s rescuers. This book contains... the stories of real people, just like you. People who needed our help. Stories of those we saved and those we couldn’t reach in time. I am a rescuer with ten years of experience, a woman. Alongside me are my friends and colleagues. And yes - we are not paid for this work. We are volunteers. This book is also about how we live - our stories. How, often while saving others, we ourselves become the ones in need of saving.
