The guide offers a new perspective on the content and methods of working with summaries. The materials in the book can be successfully used to prepare students for the OGE in the Russian language, as well as in working with gifted schoolchildren participating in various philological olympiads.
The guide is intended for teachers of literature working in high school and for lecturers in philological faculties of universities, and is designed to assist in the work on summaries and in organizing lessons for students on the skills of comprehensive (philological) text analysis. The guide offers teachers a sample scheme for working on educational summaries with text analysis.

The collection includes authorial texts with detailed methodological recommendations, describes the stages of philological study of the text, and provides examples of comprehensive characteristics. The material is intended for conducting so-called educational summaries and is accompanied by schemes/questions.
