To master the school curriculum in geometry, physics, geography, and even drawing, children need developed spatial thinking. Without it, a successful career in such promising fields as programming, design, construction, logistics, and many others is impossible.
In this workbook, children will build with cubes, but not ordinary ones, rather drawn cubes. Working with the Cubometry 3D workbook, children learn about the types of projections of cubes and develop three-dimensional thinking, which is the ability to rotate an object in their mind. The workbook contains 24 pages with tasks and 8 sheets with stickers.
How to work with this workbook:
- The tasks in the workbook gradually increase in difficulty, so it is better to complete them in order, allowing the child to understand what needs to be done independently, without adult hints.
- Before each new task, there are instructions that visually explain the principles of completing the task. If the child still needs help, suggest figuring out the instructions together.
- Pay attention to the fact that next to each task, the type and number of details needed for its completion are indicated. It is better to solve tasks while adhering to these quantities: this way, the child will learn to use all types of stickers in different ways, and there will be enough details for all tasks.
