Many games have told us about the incredible adventures of various heroes, their great exploits and the villains they defeated, about dangerous dungeons and deadly traps, about terrible monsters, a fight with which can cost you your life! But imagine...
for a second that all the hardships are behind you, the evil is defeated (at least temporarily), and the bags are full of gold... Have you ever wondered how our heroes spend their time behind the scenes, outside the time of their adventures and exploits? How do they relax in a cruel fantasy world and where do they go to heal their mental wounds?.. The answer is very simple, down-to-earth and realistic - to the tavern! And the best tavern with an endless supply of booze is the Red Dragon Tavern!Go on a wild spree, you deserve it! Gambling, a sea of alcohol, cute waitresses... Just try not to drink yourself into oblivion and save some gold, otherwise you'll have to sleep in the stables, and that's not becoming for heroes! "Red Dragon Tavern" is a card board game for 2-4 players in a classic fantasy setting. However, instead of going in search of adventures, we will go straight to... a tavern! That's where the entire gameplay will take place. The players' task is to outdrink everyone else, stay on their feet, save as much gold as possible and generally have a good rest! Along the way, we will gamble, cheat and swindle, measure strength and, of course, drink everything that can be drunk, from mead to elven wine with zapivon!
Meet our heroes:Priestess Deirdre – with the help of the divine power granted to her, she heals and protects friends, and directs righteous anger at enemies. A real coquette, especially if she drinks – the Gods protect Deirdre from evil, but not from alcohol intoxication…
Fiona the Hot-tempered is a rude barbarian who is excellent with cold weapons, and in general with everything that can cause at least some damage to the enemy. Extremely hardy, even in the consumption of strong drinks
Gerki the Trickster is a halfling, which means he is a rogue and a swindler – he always has gold in his pockets. He hides well in the shadows and strikes from behind, which has saved his friends from trouble more than once. That is probably why they have not killed him yet. He is very lucky in gambling…
Wizard Zot – could teach magic theory at the University of Magic, if not for his beloved pet Pookie – a rabid alcoholic rabbit. Has a huge arsenal of spells for any occasion. And he is also an excellent card magician!
How to play?
The rules of the game are quite simple and clear, many actions are indicated on the cards themselves. Players take turns. Each player receives a character deck of 40 cards, 10 gold, marks their fortitude at "20" and their drunkenness at zero, and takes the top seven cards into their hand. The game also involves 30 or more drink cards. At the start of the game, each player places one drink card face down on their "Drink Me" space. You will be periodically given more drinks, and your task is not to get drunk beyond your fortitude. Drink cards vary in strength, can change your fortitude, and some drinks require a drink to be finished…The basic structure of the game looks like this:Discard and draw cards - you can discard any number of cards from your hand and draw back up to seven
Action - You can play one card with the "Action" property. The effects of the cards can vary, up until the start of a gambling round.
Ordering a Drink – You must take the top card from the Drink deck and place it face down to any player! Help yourself, my friend! If the Drink deck is empty, all players must pay 1 gold to have more booze brought from the cellar!
The party - now you'll have to drink! You reveal a card from your "Drink Me!" pile. It's time to find out what you're about to drink and what effect the drink will have on you. In rare cases, when the pile is empty, you'll be able to sober up by 1 point. Don't count on it, you didn't come here to sober up!
After this, the turn passes to the next player. Who won?
The last player left conscious and with money wins! Game duration: 30-60 minutes
Number of players: 2-4
