Quedlinburg is the true capital of sorcery and healing. Every year, the fair gathers charlatans from all corners of the country in the central square of the city. It's your turn to try your luck and brew the most effective remedy.
But remember, the more effective the ingredient, the more explosive the potion. Don't overdo it with mandrake root, or you'll blow the entire fair to smithereens.
The game lasts for 9 rounds. At the beginning of each round, the player in front of the prediction deck draws one card and reads the prediction aloud. All players follow it.
Then it's time to toss rats into the cauldron while no one is looking, as you need to make as much potion as cheaply as possible.
Only then do you move on to the brewing phase. Players draw ingredient tokens from a bag and place them in their cauldron according to mathematical calculations until everyone passes or runs out of tokens. Be careful: if you lay out white tokens that total more than seven points, your cauldron will explode, and you certainly won’t be seeing the most expensive potion.
Once everyone has finished their brew, scoring begins and rewards are given. Then the first turn is passed to the next player. At the end of the ninth round, participants determine who advanced the furthest along the PO track.
