A lot has been written about predictions of the future, but in this book, attention is focused for the first time on the prophecies contained in Vedic literature - undoubtedly the oldest and most spiritual literature in the world. By reading this book, you will learn how these prophecies came about and what they may mean for you and for the future life of the entire planet.
Everyone wants to know what awaits the world in the future. Futuristic forecasts published in popular publications paint life several hundred or thousands of years from now in very rosy colors. Many people believe that thanks to technological advances, life will be long, health will be robust, and everyone will have access to all kinds of conveniences beyond imagination. Some of these expectations will indeed come true. However, Vedic scriptures contain other prophecies that directly contradict these rosy forecasts. There are predictions that may shock you, as they bear no resemblance to anything you previously imagined.
These revelations concern not only the near future. They allow us to envision what life will be like thousands of years from now - until the end of time and the destruction of the Universe. Naturally, some of these prophecies correlate with predictions from other sources - such as the prophecies of the Mayans, Nostradamus, or the Bible - and sometimes even coincide with them. But most Vedic prophecies are absolutely unique and unlike any others. Therefore, they allow for a completely different, new perspective on the future.
This book gathers together and provides explanations for the prophecies and information about the future scattered across numerous volumes of Vedic scriptures. Vedic texts - ancient, yet still valuable spiritual sources - contain revelations about the Supreme Being, His incarnations, material creation, as well as a precise description of our own spiritual essence and the most important spiritual method by which a person can free themselves from material existence. Some of these aspects are directly related to the future of our age, known as Kali-yuga. I believe that without this spiritual aspect of knowledge, the book would be incomplete, as I wanted to present Vedic prophecies as broadly as possible. The Vedas not only narrate events of the future but also offer solutions to the problems of this age. Therefore, I presented Vedic knowledge as widely as it is necessary for the material mental and spiritual understanding of what is said in Vedic literature about the future. I tried to quote Vedic texts as often as possible, since they speak for themselves.
While reading these quotes, you will notice that different Puranas predict the same thing. What is said in one Purana often helps to understand and clarify the prophecies of another. This enhances the reliability and expressiveness of the predictions.
I tried not to overload the book by drawing parallels between Vedic prophecies and our time. However, in some cases, I do resort to this, for example, where discussing the gold reserve or where additional information is required. After all, anyone can read today's newspaper or listen to the news on the radio, and then compare what they read and heard with what the Vedas predict.
