Programming in Scratch for Kids. Level 1

In this manual, children will be able to get acquainted with the basics of programming in the Scratch environment. The feature of this environment is that programming is learned through play. In Scratch, you can create stories, draw, bring invented characters to life, and make presentations and games. The book contains many project assignments, with tasks on the computer alternating with reading and completing assignments in writing.

All the assignments are creative in nature, allowing children to develop their knowledge of algorithms acquired in elementary school in the subject area of «Mathematics and Computer Science», as well as master programming tools in the Scratch environment and apply this knowledge and skills when completing project tasks from other subject areas.
