Tanya. Likutei Amarim (Collection of Sayings). Gates of Unity and Faith

«Tanya», or «Likutei Amarim» («Collection of Sayings») — is the central work of the leader of the Hasidim in the Russian Empire and the founder of the Chabad movement, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, also known as the Alter Rebbe («Old Rebbe»). This book is the foundation of Chabad Hasidism. «Tanya», first published in 1796–1797, is a crucial historical artifact of Russian Jewry. This book has endured hundreds of reissues and has been translated into many languages. It rightfully holds a place as one of the most important works of Jewish literature.

The new Russian translation of the book «Tanya» is provided with detailed notes, an extensive glossary explaining key terms of Kabbalah and Hasidism, and a comprehensive reference apparatus.
This volume of the multi-volume edition includes the second part of this work — «Gates of Unity and Faith», dedicated to the spiritual structure of the universe, the essence of the unity of God, and various forms of faith in Him. Alongside the Russian translation, the text in the original language is presented.
