We present to your attention a unique translation of the first volume of the work by John Heydon "Teomagia, or the Temple of Wisdom". His work was published in 1664 in three parts: Spiritual, Celestial, and Elemental, as the author himself wrote.
John Heydon (1629–1667) was an English Neoplatonic thinker, occultist, and Rosicrucian. He studied ancient languages and laws, but his education was interrupted due to the onset of the English Revolution. He was deeply engaged in alchemy and geomancy. Some contemporaries accused him of plagiarizing the works of Sir Thomas Browne, Thomas Vaughan, and other writers.
From the introduction to the books: «Teomagia, or the Temple of Wisdom in three parts: Spiritual, Celestial, and Elemental, containing the occult powers of angels of astromancy from the incantatory writings of the Persians and Egyptians.
