Lindbergh. The Incredible Adventures of a Flying Mouse

One small mouse's risky step, but a giant leap for all aviation.
Once upon a time in a huge city lived a little mouse who was so curious that he spent months in libraries reading books. One day he noticed that... there were almost no mice left in the city. Dangers had driven his kin away: hungry cats and predatory owls lurked in the streets, while in people's homes there were sinister devices everywhere – mousetraps! But where did his friends go? Maybe to America?
The mouse came up with a desperate plan – to learn to fly and cross the Atlantic Ocean!


About the author:
Torben Küllmann is a graduate of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, where he studied graphic design and book illustration techniques. “Lindbergh. The Incredible Adventures of a Flying Mouse” (2012) is his diploma project and first picture book. This story, rich in original ideas, was born from Torben's childhood fascination with unusual inventions and his great interest in the history of aviation.
