Robots. Metaphorical Cards

The metaphorical cards "ROBOTS" are primarily intended for working with children, teenagers, and parents, but they can also be effectively used in working with any adults. The set includes: • A methodological manual that describes the specifics of this set of cards, the basic principles, goals, and methods of work, as well as examples from practice. • Two identical sets of cards (84 color and 84 black-and-white), each of which includes three types of images: heads (28 cards), bodies (28 cards), and legs (28 cards). Images of individual body parts can be combined with each other: any head fits any body, which, in turn, combines with any legs. As a result, one can create a "robot" from various cards, and it still results in a coherent picture. The possibility of combining different details is intriguing and allows for creativity and imagination. If a child chooses black-and-white cards, copies of the cards are offered so they can design the robot as they wish—for example, gluing it onto a clean sheet of paper and coloring it to their taste. This opens up additional opportunities: one can work with color images based on the logic of working with metaphorical cards; one can work with coloring pages, relying on the principles and approaches of art therapy; one can combine working with color images and coloring pages. Robots in various modifications are among the most popular toys of modern children and teenagers. Robots are bought, invented, drawn, and crafted. Essentially, a robot is a fantasy on the theme of a human, its possibilities and relationships; it is part of the world of fantasy that is popular among children and teenagers. This justifies the choice of the "main character" of the set and explains the interest of children of different ages in working with the materials. All of this creates a substantive field for psychological work: the "Robots" set allows for working with internal conflicts, with the self-image as a whole and the body image in particular, with representations of loved ones and the relationships with them.
