In the "Witch's Forest" expansion to the board game "Destiny", players venture into the depths of a magical forest, where every step leads to the unknown.... The ancient thicket is inhabited by beings with whom one can make deals, complete their tasks, or face the consequences of one's own decisions.
The game combines a competitive adventure format with the mechanics of classic board games and RPGs. While exploring the forest, players will encounter various inhabitants of these places—both humans and supernatural beings. Some will offer rewards, while others will try to lure you into traps—recognizing their true intentions will not be so easy.
The travel system, familiar from the "Sea of Sand" expansion, allows players to move across the map, seek refuge in small villages, and find new paths to achieve their goals. Decide whether to risk for power and wealth or stick to safe paths, but remember—the forest remembers every decision you make.
 
About the game
In the board fantasy strategy game "Destiny", players will take on the role of these chosen heroes and compete against each other, facing divinely ordained challenges with honor and valor. The grim world that unfolds during the game constantly changes. Heroes will face heavy but honorable trials, which require total dedication to overcome. To make it easier, they must diligently work on their skills and carefully select equipment—sometimes everything can depend on an ordinary torch.

The rules of "Destiny" are not very complex, as a special app helps guide players through the gameplay. It replaces the leading player or game master—all players can participate in the adventures! The base game includes five scenarios: one standalone scenario that can be played first, and four interlinked ones that must be played sequentially. At the start, players need to choose a scenario and the heroes whose burdens they will take on. Each hero has their own destiny, but disclosing it to other players is not allowed: your interests may intersect and contradict each other, so there’s no need to give your opponents an advantage. Players take turns visiting and exploring locations, interacting with non-player characters, and completing their quests: searching for artifacts, defeating monsters, and so on. It is important to keep track of your effort dice and correctly choose whether to gain one guaranteed success, or increased chances of success with more checks.
 
The player who first fulfills their destiny wins. When a hero is ready to undergo a trial, they initiate their finale—and upon its completion, they win. However, another player may initiate their finale later but complete it faster if they were better prepared. In that case, victory will belong to them. A finale can be initiated in a special location by activating an action available only to you. You can understand which locations belong to you by a hint on the destiny map.
