«Diary of the Ailing» by Levan Vasadze is a diary of a dying person who does not know if he will wake up the next morning. Every day he forces himself to record what he considers the most important.
His thoughts are remarkably multifaceted — on philosophical questions of existence, the history and development of the country, on God, family, societal values, and the fate of the Georgian people. The excellent translation and additional comments allow one to enjoy the breadth of the author's perspective.
The diary is published for the first time in a printed format in Russian.
