The player’s ship is represented by a token on the game board and a player board where cargo, treasures, cannons, etc. are placed. The player begins the adventure with a small deck of crew cards; however, instead of adding new cards to it along the way, they change them by replacing or adding elements into special protectors.
You are the captain of a privateer ship ready to venture into uncharted waters. Explore unknown islands, gain influence, and establish outposts to hunt for treasures or terrorize the seas - the choice is yours.
Every choice will propel you toward a series of achievements, and once you complete four of them, your adventure will come to an end.
But you are not alone in your thirst for glory on the open sea... You are in a race against competing interests of other pirates, each striving for victory on their own terms. Will you become the best explorer, trader, or privateer, and will your strategic choices prevail? When the smoke clears, the pirate who has fared best through the trials and amassed the most treasures will be enshrined in the hall of fame of the pirate era!

Each player controls a ship and its crew. You can explore new territories, strengthen your influence on islands, build fortresses, and, of course, attack trading ships and opponents' vessels. The winner is the one who accumulates the most treasures.
