The Gates

The near future. On one of the asteroids, an abandoned base with alien ships and a device for teleportation to all conceivable corners of the universe is accidentally discovered. Thanks to journalists, the base is immediately called the Gates. And... they truly are gates, opening the way to the stars for humanity. But at the same time, they are a deadly temptation – the likelihood of not returning from a jump into the unknown is enormous; however, among 25 billion Earthlings living in cramped conditions and forced to work to exhaustion, there will be many desperate souls who have nothing to lose!
