Lun yu = Conversations and Judgments

"Conversations and Judgments" — one of the most important philosophical treatises of Confucianism, part of the "Four Books" (四书) — the canonical texts of Chinese philosophy. This work collects the sayings of Confucius and fragments of his conversations with students about the ordering of the world, the basis of which is the concept of the "noble man" (君子) and his role in creating a harmonious society.
