From East to West: A Journey of a Letter in a Bottle

The lighthouse keeper Pyotr Kruglov decided to send a letter by bottle mail. He asked everyone who comes across his message to add a small letter about themselves: where they live, how they spend their time, what traditions exist in... their family and surroundings. The bottle travels across the vast territory of Russia, from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg, finding itself in places where the overwhelming majority of readers have certainly never been. And the people who fish the bottle out add their story to the message inside it – how they live in eternal permafrost; what traditions the mountain peoples have; why in the Urals, people even speak a little differently than in Central Russia.
