Children's camp in the forest wilderness. Rest in nature, hikes, potatoes over the fire, pesky mosquitoes... For several days, teenagers are severed from civilization, gadgets, and society. Two classmates — the outcast of the class Jorg and the loner Kemi — become neighbors in a cabin. Jorg, a withdrawn and quiet guy, is subjected to mockery, humiliation, and all kinds of bullying by several classmates. His neighbor simply watches the harassment in silence, fearing he might become a victim himself. When the situation escalates, a wolf appears out of nowhere. Is it a nightmarish dream? Or is it a call to confront the nightmare in reality and show courage — for oneself and for others? "Wolf" is a masterfully written young adult novel about how thin the line is between being different from others and being an outcast. The book raises an important issue of bullying and shows how it is perceived by an observer.
