"Witches" is a card solo game about brave sorceresses protecting a small village from evil forces. Stay in the shadows, avoiding human wrath, or openly use magic to destroy the unclean. Complete missions, save locals, and prove to the jury that you are on the side of good!
"Witches" is a continuation of the series of card solo strategies, based on the same game system as Partisans. Only now you will be transported to medieval Europe during the witch hunts and lead a small coven of 12 brave sorceresses.
You will risk lives in the struggle against the unclean to save the residents of the village of Wildgrens, who are terrified of you. Success will help you gain their trust, proving that magic can serve good. But failures will only anger the people more, and then you can forget about the mercy of the jury.
You will need to show exceptional resilience and strength of spirit to achieve victory and prove your innocence. Your witch powers are clearly not enough to stand against the growing forces of evil on equal terms. It is unlikely that you will be able to complete the mission and defeat all the monsters: often you will have to assess risks and make tough choices, settling for the best of the worst.
It is up to you to decide how to act to achieve your goal – secretly or openly. Revealed witches are more useful, but at the end of the round they will be imprisoned and become unavailable to you. Hidden sorceresses will remain in the coven and can help in the future. A competent combination of different witches' abilities and timely sacrifices is the key to your triumph!
