The Bronze Horseman

The famous poem by A.S. Pushkin "The Bronze Horseman" was written in Bolshoi in the autumn of 1833. It describes the most destructive flood in St. Petersburg, which occurred on November 7, 1824. Through the prism of this tragic event... in the city, the fate of the main character, the fate of the city, and the fate of the country are revealed. During A.S. Pushkin's lifetime, only the beginning of the poem was published. The full text was printed only in 1904. This book is the author’s project of artist Mikhail Bychkov. Mikhail Bychkov is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, awarded an honorary diploma from the International Board on Books for Young People, an honorary diploma from the Academy of Arts of Russia, a first-degree diploma from the "Image of the Book" competition, a gold medal from the Union of Artists of Russia, and many other awards and prizes.
