The Return

After long wanderings, Clawgriff has finally reunited with his lost friend Dove, but even the happiness of their kittens' birth cannot make him forget his home. The herald is torn between his love for family and fear for the fate of the Shadow clan. Each day, he feels more burdened by life in the Two-Legged city, but he does everything to help the hospitable guards who have given him and Dove shelter, protect their territory, and deal with the gang of cats that have settled nearby.
However, the visions that haunt their new acquaintance, the mysterious healer Spike, leave no doubt - things in the Shadow clan are getting worse, and only the herald can save it from complete disappearance. Clawgriff and Dove decide to return home, and alongside them, several city guards and Spike with his apprentice volunteer to go.
Why does the healer embark on this long journey? What makes him convince his companions to deviate from the known path to find the mysterious orange sun? What challenges await the cats on the way to the forest territories, and what danger does little Clawgriff's son, gifted with the ability to hear the voices of the stars, sense?
