Blessed Matrona of Moscow

The holy blessed Matrona of Moscow is very close to us in time - she lived in the 20th century. People affectionately call her "Matronushka". Both Muscovites and residents of all Russia travel to the Pokrovsky Monastery to her, as to a relative: some ask for healing, some for help in life's sorrows, and some turn to her with requests regarding their personal lives. And not a single person leaves unheard, which is why the line to her relics never diminishes. Before her passing, blessed Matrona said: "Everyone, everyone come to me and tell me, as if I were alive, about your sorrows, I will see you, hear you, and help you".
