"Hello, dear little one! Look at the bookshelf: how many interesting, beautiful books there are - big and small, thick and thin, with pictures and without. Each book is a whole world with its own heroes, adventures, fairy tales. But,... to immerse yourself in this world, you must ask someone from the adults to read to you aloud. And this is so inconvenient: they may be busy with their adult affairs just when you want to listen to a fairy tale. That's why I decided to write this primer for you and for other little boys and girls. By practicing a little every day, you will learn to read very quickly. And you will be able to read your favorite book by yourself. Just imagine how everyone around will be amazed: "Can you believe it! So tiny, and already reading!"".
